I think I recall a fist clench and counter insult.

Then he got in the car with Cannon and fucked off.

It made our night.

Did Bobby Ball clentch his his fists and do his strange tongue trick Gav?

Bakewell is nice. Expensive though. I do a fair bit of walking so get to the Peak District quite a lot.

Cannock Chase is lovely as well, which is surprising considering it's flanked by Rugeley and Cannock. It's like a Midland's version of Epping Forest but with dogging.

We once verbally assaulted Bobby Ball while queuing to get into the Sugarmill.

Those nights were fucking messy.

Sugarmill is still open. I've been to a few gigs there.

Drove between Sheffield and Stoke in the summer..through Bakewell...stunning scenery.

Yea some good fishing in staffs.
Like a lot of large English towns though isn't it.
Ugly...basically..formed in the industrial age.
But literally just a few miles out...and it's lovely countryside.

The countryside is lovely. Often we'd take a trek upto te Roaches.

The town can be fun(ish). There used to be a club called the sugar mill in Hanley where you paid a tenner for a free bar all night.

Decent curries too. Always thought the West Midlands balti houses are exceptional.

Don't know what it was like in the past but I think it's improving a bit now. Stoke has a weird set-up anyway wirh Hanley and the 6 towns and all that. Some of the areas around it are half decent though and there's some nice countryside nearby even if some of the locals still point at aeroplanes when they fly overhead.

Wolverhampton makes Stoke look like Barcelona.

Gav
Is a strange set up stoke...Six district's or some such.
Got a load of plums on a match day...I remember few yrs back at that harvester I think..outside the ground?
Load of em giving the bully up to a few WH scarfers ..sent packing when numbers were evened.
But the older lot are sound.

My ex went to university in stoke. One of her houses backed onto their old ground which is still a wasteland. Funny old place, no real centre apart from Hanley which is about the size of Romford. Stoke upon Trent is a sad place, high street boarded up these days

Gotcha
Stoke have some decent lads actually...among the herberts who give em a bad name.
Wolves I've never met one I've liked

Whereabouts in staffs are you mate?

Big Wolves country here. Most of them are cunts so I hope they lose. In contrast, a couple of West Brom fans who drink in my local are alright and the Stoke lads I know or have worked with have been sound. Never liked Wolves though. Or Birmingham City, come to that.

It'll easily sell out.

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw - WHU v Wolves
I thought they'd bring more TBH..not that 3k isn't a good turnout.
If we sell this out...that's a good effort...mind you.. at the price..no reason why it shouldn't.

Had a little five spot on Afobe first goal and draw ht/ft last night, so was mightily unimpressed with how Wolves played in the second half the useless cunts.

Hopefully now we have a proper manager in charge we'll smash them like we should.

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw - WHU v Wolves
Judging by the seat sales so far, this looks like easily selling out with a couple of weeks to go... good effort.

Should be a good atmosphere, though they are only bringing 3k.

Watched the second half
The winger Graham looked a tricky player and believe he put in 18 crosses (BFS!) though he liked a dive.
My research says he is 20 and out of contract in June 2016 ..... was formerly a Villa YOUTH

Sam BYRAM scored twice for Leeds and was non-committal post match about signing a new contract. I understand he is out of contract at the end of the season and the manager seemed to be saying he will be sold in Jan if he doesn't sign.
